Measurement and Analysis of a Take-down Mechanism of Eccentric Links

In this paper the rule of take-down speed variationthrough a mechanism of eccentric links is analysed.Us-ing telemetric technique,the authors dynamicly mea-sured take-down speed and tension of this mechanism.The curve diagram of the take-down speed is experi-mentally obtained.Results of theoretical analysis and ex-perimental measurement show that take-down tensionof this kind of mechanism is more even than that of theoblique rings in model Z214 interlock machine and it isdeeply affected by many factors which include the instal-lation of the conic gear,horizontality of the take-downroller,gaps between hinge joint points of the wholemechanism and so on.     

Optimal procedure for fitting the magnetic susceptibility vs J couplings

To provide efficiency in calculating the energy-levels of paramagnetic spin clusters with high nuclear -ity, a fitting program of irreducible tensor operator is developed for the calculation of / couplings. An optimal data-access process is given, which greatly enhances the computational aspects of such modeling. Upon the program's application, the coupling constants of the moderate-sized clusters are fitted automatically by the least-squares calculations in PCs.     

Approximation solvability of hot rolling problem with Coulumb friction

For hot rolling process, the property of gradient mapping of the plastic deformation power rate func- tional is discussed with a rigid-plastic slightly compressible material model. Using the existence and monotonicity of sub-differential of surface friction power rate functional as well as the nonlinear functional analysis methods, the approximation solvability of hot rolling problem with simplified Coulumb friction is obtained.

A class of multilinear oscillatory singular integrals with smooth phases is studied. And their uniform boundedness on Lebesgue space is proved.

Application of ERS-1 scatterometer data to studying land surfaces ──Distributive characteristic of backscattering coefficient over China land surfaces

ERS 1 WSC data were obtained by international cooperation. The distributive characteristics of radar backscattering coefficient image of China land surface are analyzed and the research results are presented. The capability of ERS 1 WSC data for monitoring land surfaces is investigated. The results show that the radar backscattering coefficient images can reveal the natural landform features of China land. Using the WSC data can discriminate six types of major land coverage, including evergreen vegetation and snow covered region, vegetation and crops, mountains, grassland, desert and grassland, desert. On the whole, the radar backscattering coefficient image of China land is the synthesis of the vegetation map and terrain map. Statistical study of the typical terrain shows that the radar backscatter coefficients of China land range from -29 dB to -5 dB. The lowest value corresponds to the deserts of Badain Jaran, Takla Makan, and Tengger. The highest value corresponds to snow covered regions of Himalaya Mountains and Tianshan Mountains.
